A: No. 49 crushes were just the ones who made it into the book.
Q: Why the number 49?
A: Initially, it was 52 ways to say I like you… But the title wasn’t original. 49crushes intrigues me because the 50th crush is every other woman in the world. My subsequent, or my peer’s crush.
Q: Do you have a girlfriend? What does she think?
A: At the time it came out, I did have a girlfriend. She is in the book. She found my intimate history with the subjects… unsettling. How much I knew about hair, smell, touch, laughs. But, she was supportive and understanding.
Q: Where did you get the words?
A: Women are a wonderful muse.
Q: Any regrets?
A: Some relations of mine have been sabotaged by the existence of this book. But, those women who appreciate themselves more through my eyes make it worth it.
Q: Any last words?

I have stopped sending her texts of how much she affects me
Its not that she can ever lose the power to move me
But, I see diminishing returns on how much she believes me
Reduction in how much she values my infatuation
The worst possible thing, would be for her to take her aura for granted
For, “You are beautiful to me” to feel banal
For, I might have stopped sending her texts
But, my mind is consumed
My heart is inflamed
My desire is overwhelmed
By the magnificence of her being
